Bravely Default 2 is a sequel to the most popular JRPS released for Nintendo 3DS. Inspired by Octopath Traveler, the game maintains the aesthetics and gameplay of its predecessors but offers to the players a new story completely unrelated to the previous installments in the series. The continent of Excillent is divided into five kingdoms.
The sailor Seth has miraculously survived to a shipwreck and his body is washed ashore to the coast of one of those kingdoms. He is found by Gloria, who is the princess of a destroyed kingdom, and together with her and two other friends, they will start a journey to find powerful elemental crystals that, if they were to fall in the wrong hands, they would bring chaos and destruction to the land.In Bravely Default 2 you will travel the world as you follow the story of the Heroes of Light. You will take part in thrilling turn-based battles against a variety of enemies that will try to stop you from achieving your goal.
The combat in Bravely Default 2 reminisces that of the Final Fantasy series and other classic JRPGs. As the story unfolds, you will meet a colorful cast of characters that populate the different kingdoms. Through the game, you will improve your characters by unlocking abilities and equipping more powerful items so they are able to defeat encounters that will become more difficult progressively.
